The images below show some of my Astronomy Gear. I have so much stuff I have collected over the time, I am sure it is not all listed here.
Steady Star Adapative Optics
This incredible bit of kit is a life saver. It monitors the guide camera and constantly adjusts the position of the incoming image to the camera many times a second to reduce errors on long exposures caused by tracking / alignment issues with the tracking mount. My Image quality improved substantially once I added this device to the image train.
I have two of these one is an lx80 8" scope.that is kinda portable enough to take out into the field. The other is its big brother the 12" Lx200R. This is too heavy for me to move and is permanently mounted in my Serenity Observatory.
GStar Ex Mono Video Camera
The Gstar Ex, is a great little camera for video astro-photography. I usually have this mounted on a secondary scope when I am imaging with my main QSI camera. I use it to show a wide view live feed on another screen of the area in space I am photographing.
This is a beast of a camera. It is an actively super cooled mono camera that can take amazing low nose very long exposure images. It has a built in Filter wheel and a prism to redirect an image to a guide camera. They are not cheap , but are well worth it for the serious astro-photographer.
Orion EON 120mm f/7.5 ED Apochromatic Refractor Telescope
This is my Favourite imaging scope. It is a professional quality apochromatic refractor telescope with 120mm aperture and moderate f/7.5 focal ratio.
It has a Doublet 120mm (4.7") aperture refractor objective lens constructed with high-quality FPL-53 extra-low dispersion (ED) glass.
Adaptors for solar scope
This shows the adaptors I use to allow Full Solar Disk Image though the Lunt Solar Scope to the DMK 41 Mono Camera.
LUNT LS60THA Double-Stacked Solar Telescope
This is my Solar Imaging Scope.
it is a 60mm f/8.3 dedicated solar telescope with additional 50mm aperture secondary removable filter with dual etalons. Its tilt-tuning allows for <0.55 Angstrom bandpass, which give great shots of the suns surface or solar prominences.
I also have the B600 and B1200 blocking filters.
Meade 12" Lx200R Telescope
This is my big scope mounted on the pier in my observatory.
